Oil Pastel - Just after completing my "A" Level examinations I volunteered to work aboard a Sea-Harvest fishing trawler in the South Atlantic, leaving from Capetown, and was enthralled by these seals that followed the vessel to gobble up the discarded fish - they really liked long silver ribbon-like fish that the fishermen called snoek. They would slap like leather belts on the water's surface.
