Rhino Shot in Zimbabwe

A 4-year-old female black rhino, Fungai, was shot by poachers on 15 October 2004 on Circle G ranch. Lockie Baird, Chairman of the Midlands Black Rhino Conservancy Trust, said: "This is the first blatant poaching incident on our rhino population since the establishment of the Conservancy in 1986."
